The Muskoka project is a lakeside resort masterplan development located in the Muskoka lakes, north of Toronto in Canada. The project involves the outline design of a retail and wellness village, racquet sport facilities, a marina and 48 timber cabins. The proposal is conceived as a series of simple timber structures with pitched roofs that form a small hamlet, nestled within the existing woodland landscape.

The Village is organized as a sequence of gathering spaces connected by streets, squares, quays, and gardens, creating a lively waterfront settlement. These public realms are designed to support both small and large social gatherings, fostering a strong connection to the water.   Particular attention is given to views of the village from the lake, with buildings carefully nestled among existing trees and set against the backdrop of the surrounding hills.

South of the village, the cabins are located within a woodland setting. A diverse range of cabin types is proposed to accommodate a variety of visitors, arranged to follow the natural contours of the site. The cabins area organised into distinctive zones on the masterplan, each reflecting its unique relationship with the surrounding landscape and visitor experience.
