Wood Gold Award Winner

Magdalene College Library has been announced winner of the 2021 Wood Awards Gold Award in the Education and Public sector being described as ” a tour de force of architectural design and achievement”.

The Wood Awards is the UK’s premier competition for excellence in architecture and product design in the world’s only naturally sustainable material. The Awards aim to recognise, encourage and promote outstanding design, craftsmanship and installation using wood.

Concrete Elegance Lecture

Niall McLaughlin has spoken on the themes surrounding two of the practice’s recent projects, the Athletes‘ Housing for the London Olympics and the Bishop Edward King Chapel in Oxfordshire, at an event hosted by the Building Centre in London. The evening was entitled “Concrete Elegance – Exploring Light and Spatial Creativity.”
