The Architecture of Prayer

The Center Art Gallery at Calvin University presents The Architecture of Prayer, an international survey of the contemporary church. The exhibition showcases drawings and travel photography of historic church buildings in dialogue with new projects built between 1999 and the present-contributed by aver 40 global architecture firms-including:

British Construction Industry Award Winner 2013

The Bishop Edward King Chapel has been hailed as the Building Project of the Year in the under £3 million category at the British Construction Industry Awards. The judging panel was chaired by Peter Hansford, Chief Construction Advisor to the Government. The Construction Awards recognise overall excellence in the delivery of the building, encompassing quality, client satisfaction and delivery to time and budget.
