RIBA + VITRA TALK: NURTURING SPACES: DESIGNING FOR DEMENTIA

OCTOBER 2022

On the 4th October at London's RIBA Níall and Yeoryia Manolopoulou will present the Losing Myself project, a time-based drawing they collaborated on for the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale, which represented the plan of a building as it may be experienced by different people with dementia. Also talking will be Frank van Dillen, founder of DVA Dementia Village Associates, who will present on the very first Dementia Village in The Hogeweyk in The Netherlands. THE WORLD ARCHITECTURE FESTIVAL

NOVEMBER 2015

World Architecture Festival 2015 will bring together over 2,000 architects and designers to Singapore for 3 days of presentations, debates and celebration. On the 4^th November Niall will be taking part in a debate to discuss ‘why and how can architecture be discussed in terms of aesthetics? What does the practice of architecture contribute to the discourse of the aesthetic? And, are aesthetic values ‘eternal’ or contingent?’ On the main stage Niall will also be taking part in a presentation on Designing for Age.
