Two of our projects have made this years RIBA Regional Awards Shortlist. Saltmarsh House on the Isle of Wight, a steel framed pavilion that floats above a meadow of wild grasses. The simple house includes a long living and dining hall framed by three smaller spaces: a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom, and The WongAvery Gallery, a music practice and performance space for Trinity Hall, Cambridge.
A Ground Breaking Ceremony was held on 25th February for the commencement of the Nasrin Shah Building in Worcester College, Oxford. The event was attended by Beard the main contractor, members of the design team and representatives of the College. The Provost Sir Jonathan Bate and the Client’s representative Dr Afifi Al-Akiti conducted the ceremony, allowing work to commence on the construction of ground works.
