Our Tapestry building in King’s Cross has been shortlisted for a New London Award under the Mixed-Use category. The award recognises the very best new and proposed architecture, planning and development in the capital. Winners will be announced at a lunch on the 5th July. Niall McLaughlin Architects’ Somerville College Student Accommodation for Oxford University has been awarded a RIBA Award 2012. The project was one of only 50 projects in the UK to win one of the prestigious awards.
RIBA President Angela Brady said of the winning schemes, ‘What really stands out is that even in times of austerity, we can still deliver amazingly clever, high quality buildings…these projects are truly exciting and inspiring.’
