Níall's Lecture in Rome
November 2025
On the 7th November Níall will present a lecture in Rome entitled my Portfolio in Poems, as part of the conference Architecture and the Literary Imagination, organized by the American University of Rome and curated by Fabio Barry and Paul Gwynne.
The event, open to the entire DARC community, will be introduced by Maddalena Scimemi and is part of the program of courses in History of Contemporary Architecture for the Master of Science in Architectural Design, which for the occasion will be broadcast on unified channels (Channel I and Channel II). Níall's Lecture in Guadalajara
November 2025
On the 10th December Níall will be giving a talk in Guadalajara for ForA Foro Arquitectura. ForA is a non-profit cultural project focused on the critical analysis of architecture, based in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Its focus on the city, contemporary thought, urbanism, and its intersection with other disciplines forms the basis for the consolidation of this project for creative practice. UCD Alumni Award in Engineering and Architecture 2025

In October Níall was awarded with the UCD Alumni Award in Engineering and Architecture. The UCD Alumni Awards were established to honour the extraordinary accomplishments of the UCD alumni community. Since their inception in 2014, the Awards have recognised individuals who exemplify excellence and embody the values of UCD through their work and contributions to society. Each year, these honours spotlight alumni who have made a significant impact across a wide range of fields – including business, industry, healthcare, science, culture, sport, and the arts.
