MAUDSLEY LECTURE

Níall will be giving a talk on the 24th April as part of the Maudsley Lecture Series which is dedicated to exploring the links between Psychoanalysis and the the Arts. This years theme is Creativity: Between Outside and Inside. The series takes place at the Centre for Psychoanalysis in Camberwell - a new centre for clinical work, training, public events and a satellite site of the Institute of Psychoanalysis. A LIFETIME OF RENEWAL

Niall McLaughlin has written an essay for the Architects Journal titled ‘A Lifetime of Renewal’. He explains his view that ‘it should no longer be possible for an architect to finish their education. I propose a more comprehensive model of life-long learning. If practitioners return to education throughout their careers, they will be constantly invigorated and, by extension, so will the schools to which they return’.
