MAGGIE’S CENTRE, CAMBRIDGE

The Architect's Journal and Dezeen have published a news article on our project for a new Maggie's Centre in Cambridge. The new Maggie’s Centre is planned to support the patient community at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. It will replace a temporary facility that has been located in repurposed flats for over ten years. The new, purpose-built centre will provide people affected by cancer with comforting and inspiring spaces to decompress, seek support, and participate in activities, away from the clinical hospital environment. BALLIOL COLLEGE

OCTOBER 2015

Niall McLaughlin Architects are delighted to have won the competition for a proposed new development for Balliol College in Oxford. The project brief is to increase and upgrade the College’s undergraduate and graduate student accommodation and provide conference facilities and a sports pavilion. The commission gives the practice the opportunity to revist the design of the student room cluster and create a series of buildings arranged around quadrangles and gardens.
