MAGGIE’S CENTRE, CAMBRIDGE

The Architect's Journal and Dezeen have published a news article on our project for a new Maggie's Centre in Cambridge. The new Maggie’s Centre is planned to support the patient community at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. It will replace a temporary facility that has been located in repurposed flats for over ten years. The new, purpose-built centre will provide people affected by cancer with comforting and inspiring spaces to decompress, seek support, and participate in activities, away from the clinical hospital environment. PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS: THE ARCHITECTURE OF POLITICS IN EUROPE

Yesterday Níall was one of the responders at the book launch of Parliament Buildings: The Architecture of Politics in Europe, edited by Sophia Psarra, Claudia Sternberg and Uta Staiger. Níall spoke alongside two other responders, Mari Takayanagi, Senior Archivist at the Parliamentary Archive, and Lord David Anderson of Ipswich, a Member of the House of Lords. Niall’s presentation was based on his model of the Palace of Westminster for the Alternative Histories exhibition in 2020. The film of Alterntaive Histories can be viewed here.
