Níall's Lecture in Guadalajara

November 2025

On the 10th December Níall will be giving a talk in Guadalajara for ForA Foro Arquitectura. ForA is a non-profit cultural project focused on the critical analysis of architecture, based in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Its focus on the city, contemporary thought, urbanism, and its intersection with other disciplines forms the basis for the consolidation of this project for creative practice. Somerville College Wins Brick Awards

November 2012

Niall McLaughlin Architects was confirmed as the winner of the Brick Awards 2012.  The Somerville College student accommodation for Oxford University was given the award under the category of Best Housing Development of 26 Units or more.

The judges considered the project to be ‘impressive’ and of a ‘high quality’ and paid tribute to the ‘neat and sharp’ details throughout and the careful consideration of the existing surrounding brickwork.
