On the 18th September Níall and Dr Yeoryia Manolopoulou (Professor of Architecture and Experimental Practice at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London) are giving a public lecture at the British School at Rome entitled On Drawing. We are delighted that our project The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) has won a Regional RIBA Award.
The 5,600m2 building on Talgarth Road houses ten new flexible drama/dance studios, a 120-seat black-box studio theatre, a 200-seat training theatre, foyer, meeting rooms, offices and ancillary accommodation with projecting fly tower. The accommodation is organised into a three-storey teaching block and a four-storey theatre volume.
