Architectural Records Innovation Conference

On the 1st of October Níall will be giving a lecture titled 'Continuity' at Architectural Records Innovation Conference in New York. The conference brings together influential figures who are shaping the built environment and its future. Speakers will discuss how innovation in design happens from the small scale to the building scale. The extensive architectural work presented, both in the U.S. and around the globe, will include important cultural facilities, creative residential models, alternative forms of sustainability, and provocative public art incorporated in buildings. Peter Salter Reviews Bishop Edward King Chapel

The April edition of the Architectural Review features an article on the Bishop Edward King Chapel, written by Peter Salter. The article contains images by Dennis Gilbert, with a detailed view of the branched timber structure on the magazine’s cover. The review describes the Chapel as a “subtle synthesis of nature and the sacred” with Salter concluding that the project is a reflective and sensitive response to the “spiritual challenge of this commission.”
