ARCHITECTURAL RECORDS INNOVATION CONFERENCE
SEPTEMBER 2024
On the 1st of October Níall will be giving a lecture titled 'Continuity' at Architectural Records Innovation Conference in New York. The conference brings together influential figures who are shaping the built environment and its future. Speakers will discuss how innovation in design happens from the small scale to the building scale. The extensive architectural work presented, both in the U.S. and around the globe, will include important cultural facilities, creative residential models, alternative forms of sustainability, and provocative public art incorporated in buildings. A LIFETIME OF RENEWAL
JULY 2015
Niall McLaughlin has written an essay for the Architects Journal titled ‘A Lifetime of Renewal’. He explains his view that ‘it should no longer be possible for an architect to finish their education. I propose a more comprehensive model of life-long learning. If practitioners return to education throughout their careers, they will be constantly invigorated and, by extension, so will the schools to which they return’.
