Níall's Lecture at the Bartlett

Níall will be giving a lecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture on Monday the 17th November with responses from Izaskun Chinchilla as part of the Bartlett's Crunch lecture series. The lecture is titled The Practitioner. The seminar series invites international experts to examine and reflect on how architecture can respond to our current 'polycrisis' – a convergence of urgent, intersecting global challenges. Somerville College Wins RIBA Award

Niall McLaughlin Architects’ Somerville College Student Accommodation for Oxford University has been awarded a RIBA Award 2012. The project was one of only 50 projects in the UK to win one of the prestigious awards.

RIBA President Angela Brady said of the winning schemes, ‘What really stands out is that even in times of austerity, we can still deliver amazingly clever, high quality buildings…these projects are truly exciting and inspiring.’
