Níall's Lecture at the Bartlett

November 2025

Níall will be giving a lecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture on Monday the 17th November with responses from Izaskun Chinchilla as part of the Bartlett's Crunch lecture series. The lecture is titled The Practitioner. The seminar series invites international experts to examine and reflect on how architecture can respond to our current 'polycrisis' – a convergence of urgent, intersecting global challenges. Somerville College Wins Brick Awards

November 2012

Niall McLaughlin Architects was confirmed as the winner of the Brick Awards 2012.  The Somerville College student accommodation for Oxford University was given the award under the category of Best Housing Development of 26 Units or more.

The judges considered the project to be ‘impressive’ and of a ‘high quality’ and paid tribute to the ‘neat and sharp’ details throughout and the careful consideration of the existing surrounding brickwork.
