Bandstand, De La Warr Pavilion
A contemporary bandstand for the De La Warr Pavilion designed by Mendelsohn and Chemayeff in 1935, its design reflects the involvement of local children and a craftsman. The wings of the plywood and fibreglass canopy help project the sound forward.
