Tom McGlynn

Associate

Tom is an associate at Niall McLaughlin Architects with over 15 years of professional experience in architecture. Since joining the practice in 2014, he has led on a range of projects in the higher education and cultural sectors. Tom also has a management role related to profitability and heads up our diversity working group.

Prior to joining the practice, Tom was an associate at David Kohn Architects with responsibility for a wide range of projects in arts, urban design and private housing. Before this, Tom worked on Stirling Prize winning Goldsmith Street at Riches Hawley Mikhail and was a Project Architect at DSDHA where he delivered a RIBA Award-winning special needs school.

Tom studied at the University of Cambridge, the Bartlett School of Architecture and University of Westminster where he qualified as an architect in 2008. He has a keen interest in the links between architecture and music and gave a TEDx Talk on this subject in 2019.
