James Foskett


James studied architecture at Queen’s University Belfast, graduating with a First Class Honours in 2014 and 2017. He was nominated for the RIBA & RSUA Bronze and Silver Medal. In 2016, his dissertation titled ‘Belfast 1941: The Blitz and the Unsheltered City’ was commended the RIAI Student Writing Prize and nominated for the RIBA Dissertation Medal.

Prior to joining Niall McLaughlin Architects in 2018, James worked for Maccreanor Lavington Architects in their Rotterdam office as part of a team working on a large residential project in Wembley.

Since joining NMLA James has worked on Trinity Hall and Magdalene College in Cambridge.
