			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Niall McLaughlin was educated in Dublin and received his architectural qualifications from University College Dublin in 1984. He worked for Scott Tallon Walker in Dublin and London between 1984 and 1989. He established his own practice in London in 1990. Niall McLaughlin Architects make high quality modern buildings with a special emphasis on materials and detail. Niall won Young British Architect of the Year in 1998, he was one of the BBC Rising Stars in 2001 and his work represented Britain in a recent US exhibition <em>Gritty Brits</em> at the Carnegie Mellon Museum. His designs have won many awards in the UK, Ireland and the US, including RIAI Best Building in the Landscape and the RIBA Stephen Lawrence Award for the Best Building under £1million. Niall is a visiting professor of architecture at University College London. He was chair of the RIBA Awards Group from 2007 to 2009. He lives in London with his wife Mary, son Diarmaid and daughter Iseult.</p>

<p>Since joining the practice she has worked on a care homes project in London, the Masterplan of the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter in Oxford, a Peabody housing project in London and new student accommodation in Oxford.  She is currently working on the refurbishment and extension to the Wolfson Building at Somerville College in Oxford.</p>

<p>Jane holds a BA (Hons) in Humanities (Linguistics, French and Spanish), and has studied accountancy and Criminology . She has spent the majority of her working life involved in language co-ordination and teaching across Europe and within the UK, primarily engaged in prison rehabilitation and eventually became Head of Education in London’s largest men’s gaol, together with co-ordinating European Prison Education initiatives. She was the recipient of a Butler Trust Award in 2000 for her contribution towards the management and welfare of offenders.  A swift and eager career change 5 years ago brought her into the divergent world of architecture where she now manages all aspects of the practice.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Katherine received a BSc Degree from the Bartlett in 2008 and joined UCL’s Dean’s List for achieving Distinction in Design following her MArch Diploma in June 2012.</p>
<p>Katherine worked for Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners between 2008 and 2010 where she worked on projects including a landmark building in Monte Carlo, two transport interchanges in Naples, and the British Museum extension.</p>
<p>In 2007, Katherine was awarded The Henry Herbert Bartlett Travel Scholarship and the UCL Expeditions &amp; Travel Grant to conduct a construction project in Kampala. She has since designed concepts for a community center in Nairobi and a football academy in Lilongwe. In 2010, Katherine worked for UN-HABITAT in Nairobi and represented the UN on a mission to Ethiopia to document the government’s Condominium Housing Programme.</p>
<p>Katherine joined Niall McLaughlin Architects in 2012.</p>

Currently on a year out from her studies, she plans to pursue her Part II at University College Dublin and study abroad at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2014. Since joining the practice she has worked on a private house in Hampshire.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sarah-Jane McGee was educated in Dublin and in the Aarhus School of Architecture, Denmark and received a first class honors degree from University College Dublin in 2008.  Between 2008 and 2011 she has worked for O’Donnell and Tuomey Architects in Dublin, and for Mario Cucinella Architects in Bologna, Italy. Before graduation she also worked for Paul Keogh Architects in Dublin. Sarah-Jane won the Irish Architectural Graduates Association Gold Medal in 2008, and her thesis project was highly commended in the OPUS Construction Awards in 2008.  She joined Niall McLaughlin Architects in 2011.  Since joining the practice she has worked on the Masterplan of the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter in Oxford and a private house in London.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Simon received a BA (Hons) from the University of Portsmouth, and Dip Arch from the University of Porstmouth, the first year of which was spent  in the US at the University of Cincinnati on a scholarship.  Between 2001 and 2008 he worked for Nightingale Architects, Anshen and Allen Architects, Architecture PLB and John Pardey Architects.  He joined Niall McLaughlin Architects in 2008 and has since worked on a range of projects including Athletes Village in Stratford, Somerville College Student Accommodation in Oxford, and the Outpatients Building at the University of Oxford. He is currently working on a private house in Cotswolds and an infill housing scheme for Camden Council.</p>

He spent his year out at MRJ Rundell Associates and has also worked for Gramazio and Kohler’s Research Chair for Architecture and Digital Fabrication.  Tim joined Niall McLaughlin Architects in 2012.  Since joining the practice, he has worked on a Peabody housing project in London and the conversion and refurbishment of a Kensington town house.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tilo studied architecture at Technische Universität Braunschweig from 1995 – 1997 and at Universität Stuttgart from 1997 &#8211; 2001. <p>Tilo moved to London in 2002 to work for Eger Architects. He joined Niall McLaughlin Architects in 2006. Since joining the practice, he has worked on a health centre in Dublin, the house at Goleen, Co. Cork, Ireland, the Centre for Contemporary Irish Culture at Kenmare, the Centre for Creative Competitive Design at Cranfield University and is currently working on a Peabody housing project in London and the extension to the Wolfson Building at Somerville College in Oxford.  Tilo was made an associate in 2010.</p>
