New entry and exit structures were designed for New York is new Battery Park subway, to be built beneath the famous historic park as part of the renewal of the 1/9 line in the Downtown area.

Our study focused on five exit buildings, each differently responding to the particular aspect and part of the park.

The scheme respects the precious space of the park whilst celebrating the extraordinary achievements taking place underground. Passenger is orientation and personal safety are of primary importance and are addressed by creating views, light and accessibility.
