The
first stage of the works to refurbish and extend the old Royal Ballet
School includes a refurbished theatre space, teaching studios, sound
studios, administration and a new build student cafè and common
room. The existing building is positioned on a difficult site between
a six lane highway and a railway line. The design enjoys the drama of
this location. The passing traffic is looking in and the drama students
are looking out. |
