Commissioned to commemorate
their centenary year the project brief was to breathe life and diversity
into this clearing in the heart of London. Three main inserts baffle the
edges of the existing recreational campus, creating contrary types of
space, for the boys, teachers and parents alike to gather, in varying
formations.
Involved from the outset the pupils helped develop the brief. The project
had very tight time and budget parameters which have been held in consideration
throughout the design and build process whilst ensuring the highest level
of child health and safety issues. |
